This is a great shock for me. I used to go to Stanmore Sixth Form College with Julie & then Watford College. What happened? She was always a great laugh. Never saw her sad.

Just remembering my good friend of over 35 years. Through ups and downs, laughter and tears, loves and losses, weddings and funerals, our proudest moments when our babies were born the same year. Julie came to see me off on my travels in 1982 and it was Julie's house I left from when I finally emigrated to Australia in 2009. Last time I was home and missed my flight, Julie drove out to Heathrow to save me from hanging round the terminal alone all day. Julie, I will miss our two hour phone conversations, our shared appreciation of the absurd and your endless sense of fun, there should have been many more years. RIP my friend. xx

Julie, we spent many a Sunday pottering around antique and craft stores, moving on to the nearest pub or tea room and chatting/pondering over which direction our lives would take us. Sadly we lost touch over the years and bizarrely, we both ended up single parents with our only children sharing the same birthday, albeit 2 years apart. How strange and sad life can be that we never had time to catch up but we all here hoping to follow and support Abigail on her journey. RIP love from Lynda and Jamie. xxx
